TDP will soon be extinct in AP too: Errabelli

March 26, 2019 11:19 pm | Updated 11:19 pm IST - WARANGAL URBAN DT.

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) that lost its ground in Telangana will soon be extinct in Andhra Pradesh too after the ensuing elections, said Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao. The Congress party had become defunct and lost its relevance both in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and it will be the turn of TDP next, he added.

Mr. Dayakar Rao inspected the Azam Jahi Mill grounds and preparations for the public meeting to be addressed by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on April 2. He was accompanied by the party MLAs and police officers.

Speaking to newsmen, he said that the TRS, winning 16 Lok Sabha seats, would play a key role in formation of the government at Centre or KCR might become the Prime Minister with the help of other regional parties.

“Instead of rolling out their vision and promising the future, both Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi are abusing each other,” Mr Dayakar Rao said.
