Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP

Leading in Budhni

Shivraj Singh Chouhan is currently the incumbent Chief Minister of the State. He replaced Babulal Gaur as the CM in March 2005 and has since held the top post for three consecutive terms. Arun Subashchandra of the INC is second, trailing by a large margin.

Leading in Shivpuri

Yashodhara Raje Scindia is the current Minister for Commerce and Industries. Siddharth Ladha of the INC is trailing second. She was the winning candidate from the same constituency in 2013. In 2007, she was elected to the Gwalior Lok Sabha seat.

Krishna Gaur is the daughter-in-law of former Chief Minister Babulal Gaur, who served from 2004-05. Girish Sharma of Congress is trailing. Ms.Gaur held the post of the chairperson of the Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Corporation in 2005.

Arif Aqueel, INC

Leading in Bhopal North

Arif Aqueel has been representing Bhopal North since 1990 when he became an MLA. BJP's Fatima Siddiqui, the party's lone Muslim candidate, is second. Mr. Aqueel was the winning candidate in 2013 as well.

Jaivardhan Singh, INC

Mr. Jaivardhan is the son of former CM Digvijaya Singh. BJP's Bhupendra Singh Raghuvanshi is second. At 32, Mr Jaivardhan is the youngest member of the State's 14thVidhan Sabha. In 2013, he won by a massive margin of over 58,000 votes.

Gopilal Jatav, BJP

Leading in Guna

Gopilal Jatav is contesting from Guna, also the constituency of Jyotiraditya Scindia of INC. INC's Chandra Prakash Ahirwar is second. In 2013, Pannalal Shakya of the BJP was the winning candidate.
