District Election Officer and Collector T. Arun on Wednesday briefed candidates and their agents on the guidelines and procedures to be followed during the counting of votes in the Puducherry Lok Sabha constituency.
Mr. Arun distributed identity cards to agents deputed for the counting centre.
No electronic gadget, including mobile phone, would be allowed inside the counting centre, he said.
Mr. Arun asked the agents to extend their full cooperation.
