The CPI(M) has released a 12-minute video that explains the highlights of the party’s manifesto in sign language. The party manifesto has a special focus on people with disabilities but the video in sign language is not restricted to that. The presenter explains the political situation in the country before moving on to the party’s promises. The stakes are very high in the 2019 poll as the future of the secular democratic republic is in danger, the presenter shows. She calls for a larger presence of the Left in the next Lok Sabha to stop this slide.
