Congress candidate for Lok Sabha election V. Vaithilingam on Monday conducted a whirlwind tour of Mahe seeking votes.
Accompanied by Chief Minister V. Narayanasamy and former Home Minister E. Valsaraj, Mr. Vaithilingam conducted roadshows in the constituency. After winding up campaigning in Mahe, Mr. Vaithilingam would be touring five Assembly segments in Karaikal region from Tuesday.
Meanwhile, All India N.R. Congress chief N. Rangasamy continued with his tour in Karaikal seeking votes for K. Narayanasamy.
