Ever after being dropped for party ticket, most of the BJP MPs in Bihar have expressed their displeasure against local party units instead of BJP president Amit Shah or Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Hari Manjhi, who was elected on BJP ticket in the 2014 election from the Gaya (reserved) constituency, has blamed the district party chief Dhanraj Sharma for playing mischief against him. Other sitting BJP MPs such as Satish Chandra Dubey from Balmikinagar, Om Prakash Yadav from Siwan and Janak Ram from Gopalgunj too have blamed local party leaders for being denied ticket.
