BJP star candidate ‘attacked’ in West Bengal

The Bharatiya Janata Party has alleged that their star candidate was “attacked” by the Trinamool Congress cadres on Friday. Locket Chatterjee, the actor-turned-politician who is contesting from Hooghly seat, was “attacked” by the Trinamool “goons”, alleged BJP.

The party also alleged that the office of another BJP candidate, Samik Bhattacharya, was vandalised. The Trinamool Congress has denied orchestrating any attacks.
