Posing his 12th question to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as part of the series ‘Gujarat Maange Jawaab’ [Gujarat seeks answers], targeting the BJP government’s 22-year rule in the State, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi wanted to know the state of small and medium-sized corporations in Gujarat. Mr. Gandhi said that while small and medium-level traders were facing troubles, the big corporates were in a happy state, adding that the GST and demonetisation had turned out to be a double whammy for the trading community.
