We were given loan, not grant by Gujarat: Tata Motors

Breaking its silence over Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi’s charge that the Gujarat government extended undue favours of ₹33,000 crore to it for a car-manufacturing facility at Sanand, Tata Motors on Thursday said it got ₹584.8 crore as loan, not grant. Tata Motors built a plant in Sanand, with a vision to make it an automotive hub, thus contributing to the growth of India, the company said.
