Seated on the side-walk at 4 p.m. on Tuesday evening, waiting for the much-talked about BJP’s chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi, to make an appearance since 1 p.m. were the residents of Seelampur. A small-raised platform had every, “important,” local person making speeches about how the BJP was good for them, along with how to react when the “special guest,” arrived.
“What will you say when Kiran Bediji for whom you have been sitting here since 1 p.m. comes?” asked the local BJP candidate for Seelampur, Sanjay Jain.
“Bharat Mata ki Jai, Bharatiya Janata Party Ki Jai, Kiran Bedi ki jai, Sanjay Jain ki Jai,” intoned the crowd.
