Leading in Marwahi

The leader who has split from Congress formed Janta Congress Chhattisgarh (JCC). He served as the first Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh from 2004 to 2008.

Dr. Raman Singh is the current Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh from 2003. Under late A.B. Vajpayee, he was the Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry from 1999 to 2003.

Leading in Ambikapur

Ambikapur is one of Chhattisgarh's oldest districts. Congress MLA TS Baba won the elections in 2013 for the second time.

Leading in Patan

Baghel is the current Chattisgarh Congress chief since October 2014. He was the member of the Chhattisgarh Assembly Legislature in 2003 and 2013 from the same assembly constituency.

Charan Das Mahant represents the Korba Lok Sabha constituency and became the only Congress MP from Chhattisgarh in the 15th Lok Sabha. Mahant was the Working president of the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee.

Renu Jogi, JCC

Leading in Kota

Wife of former Congress leader Ajit Jogi. Kota has been a Congress stronghold and the party hasn't lost the seat ever since Chhattisgarh was formed in 2000.
