In an interaction with The Hindu here on Tuesday, RJD chief Lalu Prasad said “He [Narendra Modi] must have done something good in his last birth to be Prime Minister, but it won’t last in this birth.”

The other former chief minister in the Lalu family, Rabri Devi, had some words for the NDA government as well.

“I became Chief Minister thrice in 15 years, what is this 25 years that the NDA is talking about. They were in power for the last eight years,” she said.

“Why are they blaming the State government for the rise in prices of essential commodities, they are high even in States where they rule.”
