Assam polls: one killed in clash between CRPF and voters

An 80-year-old voter was killed and three others, including two CRPF personnel, were injured in a clash at a polling station in Sorbhog contituency in Barpeta district on Monday.

The situation turned ugly at Safarkamar polling station when CRPF men asked voters to stand in line, leading to arguments and jostling, district election officials said.

All the four were rushed to the Barpeta Medical College Hospital where one was declared dead.
