With Board exams coming up, students are preparing to score well and succeed with flying colours. Use this time productively to cover the syllabus so that you have enough time available to revise the subjects/topics that need revision. For better preparation, prioritise time and take advantage of digital resources to hone your skills. By engaging with digital learning methods, you can revise smartly ahead of the exams. This process of blended learning will enable you to notice your mistakes and test your knowledge on the subject. You can even take up online exercises to learn effectively.

Before the day of every exam, sleep adequately to be relaxed. Exam fear and anxiety are common among students of all age groups and could distract you from concentrating. Avoid stress and focus on the revision.

It is crucial for you to constructively manage your time to complete the question paper within the given period. Here are some quick tips which can help you attend the question paper within the specified time limit.

1. Decide the questions to be attempted first: Spend the initial 15 minutes going through the question paper and decide which section you will attempt first.

2. Answer easy questions: Start with questions you are confident of answering. This will help save time for other questions or to revise the answers. It is not necessary to stick to any specific order of questions. Quickly work on the questions which you find easy so that you have more time to work on the difficult ones.

3. Keep an eye on the watch: Keep a watch on the time while taking the exam to increase efficiency. Calculate the average time you have per question and use it as a guideline for each answer.

4. Don’t get stuck: If you are finding it difficult to answer a specific question, it is sensible to go ahead and attempt other questions rather than losing time. Those questions can be attempted in the end.

During the exam, it is essential for you to go through the question paper properly and initially attempt the questions which you find easy to answer. However, the most important aspect is time management. All your hard work goes in vain if you miss attempting the full question paper due to lack of time.
