Short of cadre

Jammu & Kashmir, Odisha, Kerala and Bihar topped the States with highest shortage in the serving IAS, Indian Forest Service and IPS cadre as of January 2016. Nation-wide shortage is 21.4 %.

 

Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram and the Union Territories are grouped under the AGMUT cadre. Assam and Meghalaya share the same cadre.
