Go on a colourful adventure with a cute chameleon named Yooka and the loveable bat, Laylee, in this fun filled game. Their precious book, later revealed to be the magical One Book , is sucked up by the evil Hivory Towers Corporation. It’s up to you to help Yooka and Laylee enter the evil headquarters to retrieve their property. Using their arsenal of special moves, help the heroes tackle a huge variety of puzzles and challenges in their search for Pagies, the golden book pages, the main ‘currency in the game’, used to unlock — and expand — stunning new worlds, each packed with oddball characters, hulking bosses, minecart challenges, arcade games, quiz shows, and much more! The characters can learn a variety of abilities, including “sonar blasting”, “tongue whipping”, “sky soaring”, and eating berries for temporary powers such as fire breath.
After the adventure is over, you can play a collection of competitive mini-games with up to four players. It also features cooperative multi player, where one person controls Yooka and the other controls Laylee. It has been released for Microsoft Windows, macOS, Linus, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
