Nowitzki, Wade play last home games

Dirk Nowitzki and Dwyane Wade played their last home games as the duo bring their celebrated NBA careers to a close. Nowitzki made his retirement official and scored a season-high 30 points in his final home game as the Dallas Mavericks defeated Phoenix Suns 120-109. Wade too scored 30 points in his final home game but the Miami Heat were defeated by the Philadelphia 76ers 122-99.

Spurs stun City in Champions League quarter-final

Playing their first European game at their new home, Tottenham Hotspur defeated Manchester City 1-0. Son Heung-min scored the only goal of the game 12 minutes from time as the Spurs grabbed the advantage in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final. The victory did come at a cost, however, as Spurs lost Harry Kane to an injury in the second half.

In the other last eight game played on Tuesday, Liverpool defeated Porto 2-0 through first-half goals from Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino.
