Two penalties sees Norway through to the knock-outs

Norway were not at their best but two penalties, converted by Caroline Graham Hansen and Isabell Herlovsen, were enough for a 2-1 victory over South Korea that put them through to the Women’s World Cup last 16.

China and Spain played out a goalless draw that ensured both teams progressed. Germany had a 4-0 win over South Africa and France won 1-0 against Nigeria to finish top of their groups respectively.
