None of your business

Being inquisitive or putting your nose into somebody’s else affairs is interfering, invasive and unwanted.

If I am not being too inquisitive, could you tell me what teacher said to your parents yesterday?

Now, that’s not only being inquisitive, being intrusive too!

Being intrusive means tending to intrude (especially on privacy) and that can be quite irritating at times. Overly personal questions can be intrusive and when you ask such unwelcome questions that’s intrusive behaviour. Celebrities may find it intrusive when pictures of their private family/friends meets are clicked and published on social media.

Synonyms of intrusive are interfering, disturbing, invasive, unwanted.

Now that you know what it is to be intrusive stop being nosy! Remember, it’s none of your business!
