Loud and obnoxious

When people exhibit unpleasant behaviour it’s time to put a stop to it.

The neighbour with the habit of listening to extremely loud music in the early hours of the morning; your little sibling who screams his throat out to get his ways…all obnoxious!

So, what does it mean to be obnoxious?

Well, if something’s obnoxious it’s absolutely driving you crazy. It means being unpleasant in a way that makes people feel offended, annoyed, or disgusted.

It refers to a behavior that is loud or impolite. You could talk about obnoxious fans who go wild at the cricket stadium, an obnoxious and pushy sales man or an obnoxious user of the library whose boisterous laugh makes it hard for the others at the library to read.

And, if you think that you are having a great time with your friends, pillow fighting on your cot and shouting your lungs out, do not be surprised if your mother stomps in and says, “Stop being so obnoxious!” Wondering why? Well, it’s because you really deserve it for your obnoxious behaviour!
