This year’s International Robotics Competition (IRC) League is the 10th season of the competition. It was held at The Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, also known as RUDN University on June 16, in Moscow, Russia.

There were around 50 teams comprising 180+ students from Indian and Russian schools — Springdales Pusa Road, Venkateshwar Global School, Scottish High International School, Vorobyeva Gora, English International School of Moscow, and Computer Academy Rubicon participated. The teams competed at three different levels — Junior, Middle and Senior. Students designed robots capable of putting stacks together, able to clear hurdles and run a bot kart race.

The teams from India won in all the three categories. This year’s IRC theme was “Bot-Olympics”. IRC League’s encourages students to come up with agile, audacious and resolute robots. The purpose is to inspire and motivate the youth to design and build robots which can withstand the trials and tribulations of the elite competition.
