Defending champions of the Premier League Leicester City became the last team in Europe’s five major championships to find the back of the net in a stunning 3-1 victory over Liverpool.

Playing their first game since Claudio Ranieri was sacked as their manager, Jamie Vardy scored twice and Danny Drinkwater added another as Leicester moved above the relegation zone.
