With time running out in the game, Harden passed the ball to Nene, who was fouled. Nene converted the two free throws that ensued to complete the win.

Warner hits second-fastest half-century as Aussies push for win

Pakistan were 55 for one chasing their mammoth target of 465, heading into the final day’s play in the third Test at Sydney.

That huge target was made possible thanks largely to super-quick contributions by the batsmen with David Warner leading the way by scoring the second-fastest half-century ever in the history of Test cricket (23 balls).

Majestic Munro wins it for Kiwis

Colin Munro scored 101 from just 54 balls to set-up New Zealand’s 47-run win over Bangladesh, earning them a 2-0 lead in the three match T20 series.

Wawrinka to take on Nishikori at Brisbane

Stanislas Wawrinka set-up a semi-final clash against Kei Nishikori in the Brisbane International tournament after coming back from a set-down to win 6-7 (2), 6-4, 6-4 in his match against Kyle Edmund. Nishikori had it more straightforward, as he won 6-1, 6-1 against Jordan Thompson.

Alize Cornet was ensured passage into the final of the women’s section after Garbine Muguruza retired during the first set while trailing 4-1.
