Windar JV with Gamesa

Windar Renovables, a leading manufacturer of wind towers, in collaboration with Gamesa India, has set up its first tower manufacturing factory in India at Vadodara (Gujarat).

The 68:32 joint venture with an initial investment of Rs. 90 crore, will produce 240 tubular towers by the end of 2012.

Windar will use its technological expertise in manufacturing and supplying to clients including Gamesa, Acciona and Alstom, says a release.
