The third edition of ‘Printex', an international exhibition on textile screen printing and garment decoration, which began here on Saturday, will come to a close on Monday.
The expo, organised by Aditya Expositions in Mumbai with the support of Tirupur Export Knit Printers Association (TEKPA), Screen-printing and Graphics Association of India and Madurai Screen Printers Association, had featured a wide range of products from screen printing and digital printing machines to garment decoration and embellishments.
Market share
TEKPA general secretary R. Asokan said that the exhibition was organised to provide better insights into the printing technology for Tirupur-based entrepreneurs as market share of printed garments had risen substantially over the last few decades.
The organisers also conducted a seminar on ‘digital textile printing' to explain the advantages of digital printing and disseminate information on variety of inks and technical solutions available in the market for the businessmen in the sector.
