Shanthi Gears Q3 net profit soars 45.99%

Shanthi Gears Ltd., a subsidiary of Tube Investments of India Ltd., reported a 45.99% increase in its standalone net profit for the third quarter ended December 31 to ₹9.84 crore against ₹6.74 crore in the year-earlier period on higher revenue. Total income rose 14.60% to ₹64.92 crore from ₹56.65 crore. The board declared a one-time special interim dividend of ₹5 per share. Meanwhile, M. Karunakaran has been named as CEO in the place of Rajiv Narayanamoorthy.
