WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 3,798.55 cr on NSE

Wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of ₹3,798.55 crore in 80 trades.

Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were:

The 329-days Treasury Bills (Issue No:120318), traded at ₹ 750.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.39 %, the 6.05 % government securities maturing in CG2019A traded value at ₹ 290.00 crore at yeighted yield of 6.49 %, and the 317-days Treasury Bills (Issue No 150318) traded at ₹ 250.00 at weighted yield of 6.40 %.

During the trading week ended today, total turnover was ₹ 12,358.45 crore and the total number of trades was 304.

The highest trade volume during the week was at ₹ 3,798.55 crore as on Friday, while the lowest was ₹1,127.90 crore as on May 29.

This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years quoted at 6.53 %, 6.83 %, 6.87 % and 7.02, respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing for 0—90 days and 183—365 days was 6.23 % and 6.38 %, respectively.

During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on WDM was ₹ 7,471.75 crore, representing 60.46 % of the total traded value.

Trading in non-government securitis was at ₹ 4,886.70 crore, representing 39.54 %, an NSE release said.
