Livspace acquires

Bengaluru-based home design service provider Livspace on Tuesday said it has acquired, a curated online network for interior designers.

According to a press release, with the new buy-out Livspace will be able to create the biggest catalogue of designer looks for home-owners and the largest curated community marketplace of home designers.

This is the second acquisition by Livsapce after it acquired design community marketplace DezignUp in March. As part of the acquisition, the co-founders of and the core team will join Livspace, the company added.

With the acquisition of Mumbai based, Livspace will start building the go-to-market strategy for the western region, in addition to expanding across other metros and Tier I cities. Livspace is currently projecting a revenue run rate of more than $10 million in months to come.

We look forward to working with these designers to create the biggest library of designer looks in the country and offer the same to tens of thousands of homeowners across the country.”

Earlier, in February, Livsapce had raised around $4.6 million in Series A funding, led by Bessemer Venture Partners and Helion Venture Partners together with Singapore-based Jungle Ventures.
