Two-wheeler major Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has lined up the launch of seven new models of scooters in this calendar year, said its president & CEO Keita Muramatsu here on Wednesday, after unveiling two new 2015 editions of its scooter brands Aviator and Activa i.

The new variants will be available for sale by end of this month across all Honda dealerships.

Standard and deluxe versions of new Activa i will be priced at Rs.46,213 and 46,703 (ex-showroom New Delhi) respectively.

“With the company’s increased focus on safety, constantly leveraging advanced technology and by launching different models on the same platform, the company was confident of achieving the No. 1 position in the two-wheelers market, said Mr. Muramatsu.

HMSI is currently at No. 2 after Hero MotoCorp and is the second largest contributor to Honda’s global sales. Presently, Indonesia contributes the maximum to Honda.
