Global Healthcare to up headcount

City-based Global Healthcare Billing Partners Pvt. Ltd. plans to increase its headcount by three-times in the next five-to-seven years, said a top official.

“We are a 20-year company providing extensive range of billing solutions to over 10,000 doctors and hospitals in the U.S.,” said Vishal Jain, president, Global Healthcare Billing Partners Pvt. Ltd.

“Currently, we employ 3,300 people, of which 2,200 are in Chennai.

“Our goal is to have a total of 10,000 people in the next five to seven years and then go public,” said Mr. Jain.

Global Healthcare has four delivery centres – three in Tamil Nadu and one in Vadodara – three front end offices in the U.S. and one delivery centre in Philippines.

As a short-term goal, the company plans to double its client base, for which it would hire 1,500 people by the fourth quarter of 2020. “It calls for an investment of ₹20 crore. It would be met largely through borrowings,” he said.

He also said that they would go big on deploying artificial intelligence and robotics for which ₹5 crore has been earmarked for the next three years.

On Sunday, the company celebrated its 20th anniversary. “We would like to be a $1-billion revenue company in the next few years,” he said.
