Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories on Wednesday said it has launched Tadalafil tablets, a therapeutic equivalent generic version of Cialis (tadalafil) tablets in the U.S. market. The product is used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Cialis is a trademark of Eli Lilly and Company. The Cialis brand and generic had U.S. sales of around $1.7 billion MAT (moving annual total) for 12 months ended January 2019, the firm said citing IMS Health figures.

Stating that US Food and Drug Administration has approved its generic version, Dr.Reddy’s said Tadalafil tablets of the company are available in four strengths and in 30 count bottle size.
