RCom introduces tablet to woo 3G customers

Aimed at leveraging from its 3G network, Reliance Communications has introduced a tablet priced at Rs.12,999 and bundled with attractive monthly plans. Available at Reliance World and Reliance Mobile stores across its 13 3G circles, ‘Reliance Tab' is a 3G and WiFi-enabled Android tablet that works on RCom's IP-based 3G network across 333 towns including Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata and supports up to 32 GB of content storage.

The tablet, custom-manufactured for RCom by China's ZTE, will have 512 MB of random access memory besides a two megapixel rear camera and a front camera for video calling. It has built-in GPS and a card reader with support for up to 32 GB of micro-SD card storage. With push email becoming more popular on the mobile phones, the Reliance 3G Tab provides a user-friendly email experience on its 7-inch screen for business users. Moreover, bundled with ‘Documents To Go', the business users can now conveniently view and work with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PDF attachments.
