Dunlop workers get July arrears

The 860-odd permanent employees at the Sahagunj unit of Dunlop India got their July salary arrears on Saturday. This was stated by State labour Minister Purnendu Bose who said that the unions have told them that while they had demanded two months wage arrears — for July and August — be cleared forthwith, the management has agreed to pay only the July wages on the eve of the ensuing festive season.
