VKC Forex widens offerings

VKC Credit and Forex Services, a professionally managed money exchange company with a network of 72 outlets including six airport counters, is expanding its activities in a big way by adding more services to its existing portfolio.

R. Venkatasubramanian, Director, told The Hindu thatthe upgradation to the status of Authorised Dealer Category II (AD II) by the Reserve Bank of India would help the company release foreign exchange for private visits, fee for participation in global conferences, remittance by tour operators, travel agents to overseas agents and principals. It can also remit fees for examinations held in India and abroad and additional score sheets for GRE and TOEFL. According to N. Nageswaran, another Director, the company was also providing a range of facilitation services such as inward money transfer, calling cards, international SIM cards and overseas travel insurance.
