BSNL selects 7 channel partners to cater to SMB segment

To address the growing small and medium business (SMB) segment, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.’s Chennai Telecom District has selected seven channel partners based on their financial strength, sales capabilities and technical competence.

According to a BSNL press release, the channel partner empanelment consisting of system integrators and hardware distributors will deploy a large field sales force to service SMB segment on behalf of BSNL.

Starting with Chennai Telecom District, the channel partner empanelment will soon be extended to other parts of the country. Some of the BSNL executives have been appointed as channel managers.

BSNL also launched a new Business Unit to target the large and growing enterprise communications market. The new unit will be managed by Account management team. It will provide personalised sales and service support.
