4 GMR group cos sell stake in KVB

Four GMR group companies, on Friday, sold over 44 lakh shares of Karur Vysya Bank (KVB), representing 4.72 per cent of the bank's equity capital, as per data available on the National Stock Exchange.

The shares were sold at an average price of Rs.401.05 a piece. The companies — GMR Estates Private Ltd, GMR Properties Private Ltd, Grandhi Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. and Rajam Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. — sold a total of 44.60 lakh shares of the bank.

The NSE data showed that while Sundaram Select Midcap bought 13.02 lakh shares, Sundaram Tax Saver Open-Ended Fund bought 8.74 lakh shares of KVB.
