Cathay to raise capacity on HK-Mumbai route

Cathay Pacific will increase its capacity on the Hong Kong-Mumbai and Mumbai- Hong Kong routes by 21% from October 29, 2017 with the introduction of Boeing 777 aircraft on these sectors. The airline will also reintroduce its Premium Economy class cabin which it had withdrawn some time back. With the bigger aircraft in the sector, the airline will offer 67% more cargo capacity out of Mumbai, Cathay Pacific said. The airline has also announced a special introductory price for premium economy seats between Mumbai- Hong Kong starting at ₹42,500. Mark Sutch, who recently took over as new regional general manager, said, “Bringing back the Premium Economy is in alignment with our brand philosophy.”
