General insurer Bajaj Allianz and housing finance firm Can Fin Homes have announced a corporate agency agreement for distribution of the former’s insurance products.
Under the agreement, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance will offer products to the customers of Can Fin Homes through the latter’s network of 194 outlets across India.
The general insurer will offer personal lines of insurance products such as health, personal accident, home, motor and travel with a special focus on long term dwelling insurance for the home loan customers. For other customers of Can Fin Homes, it will provide critical illness and PA cover.
Bajaj Allianz General Insurance managing director and CEO Tapan Singhel said with insurance penetration still very nascent in India, such partnerships would help reach consumers and offer products catering to their needs. A release from the company said the strategic alliance aimed to improve penetration and awareness of personal lines of insurance like home, health and motor insurance at the same time redefining customer experience.
Can Fin Homes deputy managing director Shreekant M. Bhandiwad said the partnership with Bajaj Allianz General Insurance would enable customer’s purchase their financial requirements under one roof.
