State Bank of India Bengal Circle has launched its financial planning centre here. The centre will provide SBI's customers in the city with specialised financial planning related services like investment planning, retirement planning, and investment advisory across products like bank deposits, mutual funds, insurance products, portfolio management services and debt products through their designated branches.
Another such centre has already been inaugurated at Siliguri and two other centres at Durgapur and Bidhannagar are to be opened shortly. These are among the 50 such centres being planned by the public sector bank.
Hub and spoke model
The centres are working on the hub and spokemodel with teams at centres catering to leads from branches and corporates in that locality.
