Ratan Tata selected 'Businessman of the decade'

Ratan Tata, Chairman of the TATA group was bestowed with the title of ‘Businessman of the Decade’ during a ceremony held in Mumbai.

Governor of Maharashtra, K. Sankaranarayanan felicitated Ratan Tata with the award at a function organised by Federation of Indo-Israel Chambers of Commerce.

Tata said that tremendous opportunities exist between India and Israel.

“I see tremendous opportunities that existed between India and Israel, opportunities in area of agriculture, but certainly in high technology and science. I think there is an enormous opportunity,” said Mr. Tata.

He added that Israel is a creative country Israeli brains and creativity can be used to manufacture products in India, as it is very close to Israel, and export this to the rest of the world.
