Britannia Industries, manufacturers of diverse products in biscuits, bakery and dairy categories, has launched ‘Actimind’, milk-based health drink for children. It is a unique drink with seven active brain nutrients that help improve mental sharpness.

This launch further enhanced Britannia’s foray into healthy milk-based products. The company had recently introduced UHT milk with zero per cent fat and cholesterol in hygienic and convenient tetra packs.

Addressing a press conference here on Friday, Vinita Bali, Managing Director, said Actimind was being launched initially in Tamil Nadu and would be available in Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchi and Vellore.

Two flavours

The product would be available in two flavours — mango and strawberry — and was priced at Rs. 15 per 150 ml bottle. It contained five B vitamins, choline and Iodine. Each bottle contained more than 20 per cent of the recommended daily requirement of these nutrients. It had a shelf life of six months, she added.
