Three new members join the board of India Cements Ltd.

Three independent directors,  Arun Datta, N.R.Krishnan and V.Manickam, are slated to retire on August 28.

The board of The India Cements Ltd. will sport a new look with the induction of three new members.

The three new directors are: Basavaraju, Lakshmi Aparna Sreekumar and Sandhya Rajan.

These three were appointed to the board based on the recommendation of the nomination and remuneration committee, the company said in a filing to the BSE.

They have joined the board as additional independent directors.

In the meanwhile, three independent directors,  Arun Datta, N.R.Krishnan and V.Manickam, are slated to retire on August 28.

The board has also appointed N. Srinivasan, whose term of office as independent director expires on August 28, as additional additional director (non-executive, non-independent and liable to retire by rotation) with the effect from August 29.
