Sundaram Business Services bags top award

Sundaram Business Services (SBS), the BPO subsidiary of Chennai-based Sundaram Finance, has bagged the International Service Excellence Award 2014 in Australia.

“SBS won the 2014 International Service Excellence Award instituted by Customer Service Institute of Australia (CSIA) in the Medium Business category. SBS is the first non-captive BPO globally to win this award”, a company statement said.

“Winning the International Service Excellence Award is a reaffirmation of our time tested values of customer service of the Sundaram Finance Group”, Sundaram Business Services CEO, Rajesh Venkat said.

“It is a testament to how we have combined strong processes with a skilled and committed team to deliver value to the mid-market in Australia”, he said.

The award recognise, promote and reward for service excellence, professionalism and outstanding achievement by organisations across the globe, the statement said.

Sundaram Business Services opened its office in 2005 in Australia and has become the largest provider of back office processing for administrators and accountants.

The company also offers BPO services for public practice accounting firms and operations, and finance back office for companies engaged in hospitality, portfolio administration and mortgage, it said.
