Samsung launches Galaxy Core

Korean handset maker Samsung Electronics, on Tuesday, launched ‘GALAXY Core’, a dual SIM device priced at Rs.15,690.

“Galaxy Core combines dual core processing power, compact design, and dual SIM technology all into one device,” Samsung Mobile Country Head Vineet Taneja said in a statement.

The device comes with a 1.2GHz Snapdragon Qualcomm dual core processor and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system. It supports internal memory of 8 GB, has a 4.3 inch display and a 5-megapixel camera

The company said as an introductory offer, the device will come with a digital wallet of Rs.5,000 valid for 90 days applicable on games. Additionally, the handset maker will offer free bundled data for Vodafone and Idea users.
