Ma Foi Strategic Consulting has roped in four industry veterans, including the former Managing Director of EID Parry, Ravindra Singh Singhvi, to float a joint venture which will offer end-to-end consulting solutions that target the manufacturing sector.

Called Ma Foi Connecting Dots Advisory Private Ltd., the new venture is, at present, in talks with several private equity firms to raise $5 - $6 million in the next five months.

“The company will be a subsidiary of Ma Foi Strategic, which holds a 51% stake, with the industry veterans holding the remaining. It will focus on the automotive, aerospace and general engineering spaces, with a special focus towards small and medium enterprises,” said K. Pandiarajan, Founder & Chairman, Ma Foi Strategy Consulting.

The industry veterans include D. Satheesh Kumar, former COO of a Tata Group company, Pradeep Chennamale, former head of strategic financial services, Dynamatic Technologies, and V. Sunder, former president of Dynamatic Technologies Limited.

Cloud delivery model

The company’s delivery model will include the application of a cloud-based supply chain portal and an enterprise manufacturing intelligence solution.

“We have joined hands with two technology companies including Levergent Technology India Private Limited and Kaar Technologies Private Limited to offer different ways of employing our solutions. This will help companies who are not present in metros or who have a large number of vendors,” Mr. Pandiarajan said.

The new venture will have four offices by the year-end, which will be increased to 48 offices and 500 employees across the country over the next 24 months. We are targeting revenues of Rs. 250 crore in the next 3 years, said Mr. Pandiarajan.
