Jakson Power Solutions, on Tuesday, announced that it had signed a technology transfer agreement with the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) for manufacturing and selling two solar-powered water purifiers, using the latter’s technology.

In a statement here, the company said, as per the terms of the agreement, it would be granted access to technology for standalone solar PV driven battery-less ultra filtration units for water purification by BARC for seven years.

Make and sell

Jakson will use the technology to sell these products in India and overseas markets. The manufacturing of these products will take place at the company’s Greater Noida plant, and is expected to hit the markets within the next three months.
