Infosys said speculation about an SEC probe or a delay in filing Form 20-F with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) within the stipulated time was ‘baseless.’
“The company will file the Form 20-F within the stipulated time and has sufficient time to do so. Speculation that the Form 20-F is not filed in time or there is an ongoing SEC investigation is baseless and incorrect,” Infosys said.
The clarification follows media reports about a whistleblower claiming Infosys had not filed the mandatory Form 20-F and wanting to know if there was any ongoing SEC investigation. The Form 20-F lists important risks and financials of a company.
