Gati net up 60 % in third quarter

Gati has reported a 60 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit in the third quarter ended December 31. The net profit was Rs.14 crore against Rs.8.70 crore. The consolidated total income rose by 15 per cent to Rs.428 crore (Rs.374 crore).

The company said the board of directors has approved a proposal to raise funds up to Rs.120 crore by way of issue of securities to Indian or foreign investors. It could be through qualified institutional buyers, foreign institutional investors, venture capital funds or other any other category of investors.
