Coffee Day annual net rises 21%

Coffee Day Enterprises Ltd. has posted total revenue of ₹4,264 crore during the fiscal ended March 31, a 12.6% growth over last year’s revenue of ₹3,788 crore.

During the fourth quarter, the company posted revenue of ₹1,322 crore against ₹1,130 crore, a y-o-y growth of 17%. The company’s net profits after tax for the whole year and the last quarter were ₹128 crore and ₹26 crore, growing 21% and 4%, respectively.

During the year, the company posted an EBITDA growth of 15% to ₹961 crore, while its EBITDA for fourth quarter was ₹253 core, a 17% growth over the corresponding quarter a year ago. The company in its filing to NSE said EBITDA for Q4FY19 and FY19 included exceptional gains amounting to ₹25 crore and ₹98 crore, respectively on account of fair valuation/sale of our equity stake held in a small product engineering company, Global Edge Software Limited, in Bengaluru.

The company’s PAT for the period Q419 and FY19 includes an exceptional gain amounting to ₹17 crore and ₹68 crore respectively on account of fair valuation/sale of equity stake held in Global Edge Software.
