AirAsia comes up with free seats promotion

No-frills Malaysia airline AirAsia, on Monday, announced 'Free Seats' promotion offering lucrative fares to flyers from Kolkata, Chennai and Tiruchirappalli to destinations such as Singapore, Krabi, Hatyai, Phnom Penh, Yangon, and Jakarta with offers starting from zero rupee beginning Monday evening.

Now fly from Kolkata to Bangkok for all-in-fare as low as Rs.3,300, Chennai to Bangkok Rs.3,500, Bangalore to Kuala Lumpur Rs.5,500, Kolkata to Kuala Lumpur Rs.5,000, Cochin or Chennai to Kuala Lumpur Rs.4,500 and from Tiruchirapalli to Kuala Lumpur Rs.4,000. All these fares are inclusive of taxes.

Under this promotion, AirAsia is offering 20 lakh promotional seats for booking from April 2 to 7 for the travel period beginning January 1 to April 30, 2014. The promotional seats are also available for booking via AirAsia’s mobile booking platforms through WAP-enabled phones at http://mobile.airasia.com and AirAsia apps on iPhone and Android devices. Free seats to domestic Malaysia destinations such as Penang, Alor Setar, Johor Bahru, Kota Bahru, Terengganu and more are also available from Kuala Lumpur. Only taxes and fees apply to these free seats, a statement issued by AirAsia here said.
